Fun with the DeGraffenrieds

Ok, no DeGraffenrieds here but here is Georgia, my favorite animal at the zoo,(a bird that looks like a tree, if I had a tree in my yard I would want this bird) Cooper looking at the "tigers" (Spencer would get so mad when we tried to correct him) and Georgia!

Spencer Boy and Cooper Kid

Well I didnt end up marrying a cowboy but if I work hard enough maybe Cooper will turn out to be one!!! The prospect is so exciting :)Anyhow, Deana and Spencer came to town and Deana and I had tons of fun dressing them up like cowboys and parading them around OKC. They make SUCH CUTE cowboys.

We had fun at the Express Clydesdales ranch. The weather was wonderful, all the clydesdales were there and we were there and we had the whole place to ourselves...probably because it was actually closed, but the gate was open, so who knew?
Then we went to County Line for some DELICIOUS BarBQ, then headed to the ZOO! We were pooped at the end of the day, but had fun! These boys have so much fun together and we had a blast just watching them. They melt our hearts!

A Good Reminder

It will so be worth your while to watch this 1min. video. It was so touching and reminded me how important it is that we stand up for what is good and RIGHT. We cannot let the world influence us on such important matters. This is our country's future, our future and our children's future. What kind of a world do we want them raising their children in?

Breaking out the warm clothes

It is the beggining of September and we have had to wear pants and long sleaves a few days already! Fun for me to try new clothes on Georgia. Poor kiddos have been sick wich makes for a tired mommy! My one good sleeper has not been sleeping (Georgia!) And Cooper is Cooper just sick. But they are so cute!

Georgia is the happiest, most laid back baby I have ever met! Well at least compared to Cooper!

He's not choking her I promise

Oh pretty baby girl has the funniest faces. I guess if I were getting choked I'd make them too. Cooper insisted on holding her while he watched cartoons this morning, he did a good job for the most part, I did rescue her after I took the pictures though.

Cowboy Coop

We went to the county fair this past weekend and had a fun time. Cooper loved the pigletts and holding the bunnies and chicks. They had a baby race that was so funny to watch. Parents would stand at the finish line dangling cotton candy, cell phones, teddy bears, anything to get their baby to craw. So cute. The announcer was a horse race announcer and it was very entertaining. Then Cooper got to do a stick horse race and he walked the whole way! Funny kid came in last. Then to top it off we was a "cow" from Cars movie! Fun stuff.

Daddy's Girl

She looks just like her daddy! These pictures remind me so much of Drew's baby pictures. And boy does she love her daddy. She can spot him from across the room and just goes nuts. He just looks at her and you can tell she melts. She smiles so big. We love you Georgia!

Great grama Hamblin sent Georgia a baby doll when she was born. Whenever I lay her down for bed she spends a few minutes trying to get a hold of it. She smiles and laughs at it and trys so hard to reach it.

Woo Hoo we had company!!!!

I love having company! We were lucky enough to have Clint and Natalie come with Torrey and Colton (and baby boy :) for the weekend. Cooper was in "friends" heaven all weekend.
They all get along really well and we had fun hanging out with Clint and Nat. We went to Bourbon Street Cafe and it was delicious, seriously so good, until Natalie found a hair in her food. Then we walked forever back to the car int he rain. fun!

Nice to be home...

On Friday Cooper had his friend Noah come and play. He brought his litle puppy along and Cooper carried that little guy around the whole time.
Then on Friday night we babysat for 2 families in the ward. Cooper wanted to read his favorite book to John who was a good sport and sat through most of it. Cooper knew the gist of every page but added alot of jibber jabber too. He would get so mad when I would try to help him, or even when I poked my head in to watch.
When he gets really bored these days, he goes into my closet and tries on all my boots. He calls the rain boots "mommy's pirate boots" I am guessing from the anchors all over them. He's a clever boy.
