Coop Story

So, my kids trash my car. Because they have to be entertained constantly to be happy, there is alot of snacking, toy throwing, book reading and such that goes on in my car. Cooper's backpack is dumped everyday, and the contents trampled on with usually muddy or wet shoes because we actually live in Seattle Oklahoma I think. But anyhow, the window next to Cooper has stickers all over it. (thanks to Cooper of course) Some half scraped off, some stuck on in all their glory. Almost every day as he sits down in his seat, he will look out his window and say, "Our car is old and dirty! We need a new car!!" (I think it is an '07, so really not that old, although he has been trashing it for going on 4 years now). I say "Cooper, it is not old, and it is only dirty because of you. Cars cost alot of money so we need to take good care of this car and keep it clean."
At some point he started a new car fund in a shoe box in his closet and also in the change drawer in the dash. The last time he sat in his seat and stared out the window he said, "We need a new car! This car is old and dirty!!"
me: "Cooper, cars cost alot of money."
Cooper: "I HAVE lots of money for a new car!"
me: "Cooper we need more money than that. "
Cooper: "I know where we can get alot of money!!(super excited now..)
me: "where?"
Cooper: "The bank!!"
me: "Um...that's actually true."

World"s Biggest Post

We got to come to AZ for Spring Break and are having a lot of fun! I drove down with a friend who has family in AZ too, and even though my stomach hurt the whole week before we left from anxiety about the whole idea, I am glad I did! Now we just have to drive back...

My dad has been taking Cooper hiking the last few times we have come and he LOVES it!! Today they went hiking and are camping over night in the Superstitions. He was SO excited.

Cooper asked me to take a picture of him and the "11" he made with pop sickle sticks.

Cooper's cousin Spencer invited him and Georgia to a fun Saint Patrick's Day party at the park. They had so much fun. They love their cousin Spencer.

Some unsuspecting kid left their bicycle helmet in the path of the hat nut.

Miss Georgia is so friendly. She would walk right up to the little girls and say "HI!" And sit herself next to them and smile at them. Usually they would ignore her which just breaks my heart! She wants to be friends with everyone!

We made our way to H&M, and Cooper about blew through my budget. He had clothes pied high in his arms to his chin until he finally said"Mom, I cant get anymore clothes, because there just isn't enough room in my arms." He picked everything out and then planned his outfits for the next few days when we got home. Such a masculine thing to do. He totally gets that from Drew. RIGHT.

Cooper's masculinity has nothing to do with the crown he happens to be wearing here....Georgia made him wear it, just long enough for me to get a picture.

My mom was laying down by him a few nights ago trying to get him to go to sleep, and she asked him to tell her a story.
Cooper: "Why?"
Grama: "Because I like your stories"
Cooper: "OK...A magic man flicked his bum with a magic thing. THE END."
Cooper: "So...why are you still in my bed?"
Grama: "Um, because you like me to lay by you??"
Cooper: "You don't need to lay by me, you have your OWN bed.

Happy
Birthday Drew! He got a TV that is way too big for any wall. (I think)
He also painted my living room and hopefully Georgia's bathroom while I have been gone. Cant wait to see it!
Georgia is just plain funny. Still obsessed with hats. Also surprised us tonight by counting to 10 all by herself. We didn't even know she could count to 1.
Georgia has found her new favorite hat....
